Bookish Things: my dream reading nook

I’m a sucker for a beautiful reading nook, the kind of place that just begs you to curl up with a book and lose yourself. I could see myself loving all of these! In a perfect world, I’d have two reading spaces, one indoor and one outdoor. The outdoor one would have a big round, rattan day bed piled high with pillows. Plants would fill the space, side tables to hold my iced tea. Lanterns and fairy lights, too. Indoors, I’d have a out-of-the-way nook, a comfortable day bed, and lots of shelves!

I love how cozy this nook is. And all those bookshelves! I’d probably change up the wallpaper and exchange the settee for something a little more comfortable, like a daybed with lots of pillows.

I love the shabby chic-ness of it all. That sofa looks so comfortable, and I imagine a garden outside the window.

I love the bright colors and mismatched patterns! I’d probably change the colors to jewel tones, mix in some tropical decor. The beach meets boho. A great place to read!

This would be fabulous on an outdoor lanai! It looks so comfy!

I love this so much! It’s a magical place to relax with a good book!

What would your ideal space look like?
