This is from One Stormy Night, the Kissing Frogs prequel. I probably had the most fun writing this book, mainly because of the research involved. It’s a time-up, paranormal romance, and I wove real places, events, and people into the story. It was fun to try to imagine those things through the eyes of someone who was from a different time, a different world. Imagine being a pirate from centuries in the past, coming upon a crowd of people yelling with fervor about insects? That was a scene in which Finn finds himself on the fringes of the mass hysteria of people at an airport, the day The Beatles came to the US.
