I love a good zombie read! It isn’t all guts and gore, either. Some of these listed are far from what you would expect!

1. The White Trash Zombie series by Diana Rowland. You have never read about zombies like Angel!  Goodreads (6 novels)
2. The Something Strange and Deadly series by Susan Dennard. This series blends the world of zombies with the era of steampunk. Goodreads (3 novels/1 novella)
3. The White Rabbit Chronicle series by Gena Showlter. This is a totally unique take on zombie lit, setting it within the backdrop of the Alice in Wonderland world. Goodreads (4 novels/1 novella)
4. The Roth & Ruin series by Jonathan Maberry. Somehow, this post-apocalyptic series is both horrifying and, at times, hilarious! Goodreads (5 novels/4 novellas; ongoing)
5. The Forest of Hands and Teeth series by Carrie Ryan. The series is set in a post-apocalyptic, dystopian world. Goodreads (3 novels/5 novellas)
6. The Warm Bodies series by Issac Marion. Love, love, love this series! Goodreads (2 novels/1 novella; ongoing)
