What are you currently reading?
I’m currently reading Torn by Amanda Hocking and Changes by Mercedes Lackey. Both of these are rereads for me. Torn is my beach book, and Changes is part of the epic Valedemar series, an ever growing saga of singles, duologies, series, and shorts. It is my all-time favorite and I am constantly reading this series. There are so many books that by the time I’ve reached the end, a year or two has gone by and it’s time to start over, adding all the new books that have come out in the chronology!
What did you recently finish reading?
I just finished the first book in Mary Alice Monroe’s Beach House series. Now I’m on the waiting list for the next book at my library! I didn’t expect to like it as much as I did, especially since I’d seen the very different TV movie first. But it was a tearjerker, to be sure. I also just finished Intrigues, also by Mercedes Lackey, the book before Changes. And I finished Amanda Hocking’s Switched, the book preceding Torn.
What do you think you’ll read next?
Up next will be the next book in the Mercedes Lackey series, Redoubt. I still have a ways to go with Torn, but when I’m finished, I will move on to the last book in the trilogy, Ascend, before delving into the follow-on series, The Kanin Chronicles.
